LISA: Aber mein Mann ist Jude. Und er sitzt im KZ mit vielen nichtjüdischen Deutschen. Und ihr Kampf ist auch sein Kampf. Was sollte er als Deutscher in Palästina?

MUTTER: (zum Vater) Du fährst allein nach England. Das war so abgemacht. Und du erstmal da bist. findest du auch Wege, uns nachzuholen.

INGE: Klar, je eher du fährst, desto eher sehen wir uns wieder.

MUTTER: Die neue Wohnung finden wir schon alleine. Für die paar Wochen —
