Der durchschnittliche Afrikaner, Südamerikaner oder Ostasiate (mit Ausnahme der Japaner) wird zwar den Fremden kennen lernen, niemals aber die Fremde, aus der dieser Fremde kommt. Er wird also nie die Gelegenheit haben, die Touristen in ihrer sozusagen natürlichen und alltäglichen Lebenswelt kennen zu lernen, so wie es dem Touristen in mehr oder weniger voyeurhafter Schau möglich ist.
