Ganze Stadtviertel wurden in kürzes

Ganze Stadtviertel wurden in kürzester Zeit gebaut. Es entstand erstmals eine klare Trennung zwischen ,besseren' und ,schlechteren' Wohngegenden.
In Berlin enstanden die bekannten Hinterhofwohnungen der Arbeiter. So konnte billig gebaut und doch noch zur Straße hin eine anständige Fassade gezeigt werden.
