§ 2 (1) Der gesamte Arbeitsaufwand für das Masterstudium Internationale Betriebswirtschaft beträgt
120 ECTS-Punkte. Das entspricht einer vorgesehenen Studiendauer von 4 Semestern.
(2) Der Arbeitsaufwand im Masterstudium Internationale Betriebswirtschaft wird grundsätzlich durch
ECTS-Punkte bestimmt.
(3) Um den Studierenden die für ein Modul oder eine Lehrveranstaltung vorgesehenen Kontaktzeiten
mit Lehrenden bekannt zu geben, sind zusätzlich auch die Semesterwochenstunden (SSt) anzugeben.
(4) ECTS-Punkte für einzelne Module bzw. Lehrveranstaltungen müssen ganzzahlig sein.
Zulassungsvoraussetzungen
§ 3 (1) Die Zulassung zum Masterstudium Internationale Betriebswirtschaft setzt den Abschluss eines
fachlich in Frage kommenden Bakkalaureatsstudiums oder eines fachlich in Frage kommenden Fachhochschul-Bakkalaureatsstudienganges
oder eines anderen gleichwertigen Studiums an einer anerkannten
inländischen oder ausländischen postsekundären Bildungseinrichtung voraus.
(2) Fachlich in Frage kommend ist jedenfalls das Bakkalaureatsstudium Betriebswirtschaft und das
Bachelorstudium Internationale Betriebswirtschaft an der Universität Wien.
(3) AbsolventInnen von facheinschlägigen beziehungsweise gleichwertigen Studien im Ausmaß von
mindestens 180 ECTS-Punkten anderer anerkannter inländischer und ausländischer postsekundärer
Bildungseinrichtungen haben jedenfalls
- Betriebswirtschaftliche Kenntnisse im Ausmaß von mindestens 20 ECTS (besonders in den
Bereichen Finanzwirtschaft, Marketing, Organisation, Personal, Produktion, Logistik, Rechnungswesen)
und
- Englischkenntnisse auf Niveau C1 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens und
- Mathematische Grundkenntnisse, besonders im Bereich der Linearen Algebra (wie etwa Vektorräume,
lineare Gleichungssysteme, Matrizen, Determinanten, quadratische Formen) im
Ausmaß von 4 ECTS und
- Statistische Grundkenntnisse, besonders im Bereich der deskriptiven Statistik, der graphischen
Aufarbeitung von Daten, der Grundzüge der Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie (insbesondere:
grundlegende Zufallsverteilungen, Zufallsvariablen, Erwartungswerte, Varianzen), der klassischen
Testtheorie sowie der Linearen Modelle im Ausmaß von 4 ECTS
auf universitärem Niveau entsprechend der Curricula für die Bachelorstudien Betriebswirtschaft und
Internationale Betriebswirtschaft nachzuweisen.
(4) Wenn die Gleichwertigkeit grundsätzlich gegeben ist, und nur einzelne Ergänzungen auf die volle
Gleichwertigkeit fehlen, können zur Erlangung der vollen Gleichwertigkeit zusätzliche Lehrveranstaltungen
und Prüfungen im Ausmaß von maximal 30 ECTS-Punkten vorgeschrieben werden, die im
Verlauf des Masterstudiums zu absolvieren sind.
(5) Die grundsätzliche Gleichwertigkeit ist jedenfalls gegeben für
1. das Bakkalaureatsstudium Statistik an der Universität Wien mit betriebswirtschaftlicher
Vertiefung im Ausmaß von mindestens 40 ECTS-Punkten. Zur Erlangung der vollen
Gleichwertigkeit können in betriebswirtschaftlichen Fächern zusätzliche Lehrveranstaltungen
und Prüfungen im Ausmaß von maximal 20 ECTS-Punkten vorgeschrieben werden,
die im Verlauf des Masterstudiums Internationale Betriebswirtschaft zu absolvieren
sind.
2. das Bakkalaureatsstudium Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Wien mit betriebswirtschaftlicher
Vertiefung im Ausmaß von mindestens 20 ECTS-Punkten. Zur Erlangung
der vollen Gleichwertigkeit können in betriebswirtschaftlichen Fächern zusätzliche Lehrveranstaltungen
und Prüfungen im Ausmaß von maximal 20 ECTS-Punkten vorgeschrie-

sind.
§ 4 (1) Studierende können einzelne Module bzw. Lehrveranstaltungen aus dem Masterstudium Betriebswirtschaft
im unter Punkt (2) definierten Ausmaß bereits vor Zulassung zu diesem Studium absolvieren,
wenn sie
1. zum Bakkalaureatsstudium Betriebswirtschaft, Statistik oder Volkswirtschaftslehre und
zum Bachelorstudium Internationale Betriebswirtschaft an der Universität Wien zugelassen
sind,
2. alle Module des Bakkalaureatsstudiums bzw. des Bachelorstudiums, die für die vorgezogenen
Master-Lehrveranstaltungen bzw. -Module vorbereitend sind, bereits positiv absolviert
und
3. im Bakkalaureatsstudium bzw. im Bachelorstudium insgesamt bereits Module bzw. Lehrveranstaltungen
im Ausmaß von mindestens 160 ECTS-Punkten und die Studieneingangsund
Kernphase positiv absolviert haben.
(2) Hat ein/e Studierende/r im Bakkalaureatsstudium bzw. im Bachelorstudium Lehrveranstaltungen
im Ausmaß von 160 ECTS-Punkten absolviert, so können Lehrveranstaltungen aus dem Masterstudium
im Ausmaß von höchstens 12 ECTS-Punkten vorgezogen werden. Hat ein/e Studierende/r Lehrveranstaltungen
im Ausmaß von mehr als 160 ECTS-Punkten absolviert, so können entsprechend
mehr Lehrveranstaltungen aus dem Masterstudium vorgezogen werden. Die Zahl der fehlenden ECTSPunkte
gemeinsam mit der Zahl der vorgezogenen ECTS-Punkte darf aber 32 ECTS-Punkte nicht
übersteigen. D.h. es dürfen Lehrveranstaltungen im Ausmaß von maximal 32 - Anzahl der im
Bakkalaureatsstudium bzw. im Bachelorstudium fehlenden ECTS-Punkte vorgezogen werden.
(3) Das Vorziehen von Master-Lehrveranstaltungen bzw. -Modulen im Bakkalaureatsstudium bzw. im
Bachelorstudium gem. (1) und (2) ist von der Studienprogrammleiterin bzw. vom Studienprogrammleiter
im Vorhinein zu genehmigen.
Akademischer Grad
§ 5 Absolventinnen bzw. Absolventen des Masterstudiums Internationale Betriebswirtschaft ist der
akademische Grad „Master of Science“– abgekürzt MSc zu verleihen
