Die Frau und Schwester des Auferstehungsgottes Osiris, bekrönt mit Kuhgehörn und Sonnenscheibe, reicht ihrem Sohn Harpokrates die Brust. Der Isiskult verbreitete sich über den gesamten Mittelmeerraum und erreichte durch römische Soldaten sogar die nördliche Grenze des Imperiums in Deutschland. In der christlichen Ikonografie wird diese Gruppe zum unmittelbaren Vorbild der Maria lactans mit dem Jesusknaben.
