Zwischen den Rassen und Volkern aber herrschen das Gesetz des ewigen Kampfes. Der Lebenskampf als Gesetz der Geschichte gelte vor allem der Selbsterhaltung. Die Funktion solcher rassentheoretischer und sozialdarwinistischer Gedanken war eindeutig: Sie dient der Rechtfertigung innerer Abwehr und außenpolitischer Expansion
