The Austrian sculptor Hans Freilingen (1925-2012) belonged to that generation of artists, whose work still rested firmly on craftsmanship advance education. Had in his early artistic skills have become conspicuous Freilingen learned yet the profession of carpenter before the war (and after 1945 occupied with carving), the post-war period made him the stucco artist and restorer.
