Kobusch ist Realist. Seine Bilder öffnen die Tür zu einer Welt, von der jeder glaubt, sie schon einmal gesehen zu haben. Seine Bilder sind "Déjà vu’s aus der Wirklichkeit". Der Maler gestaltet seinen Auftritt von Personen, gibt die Perspektive vor und lässt so im Kopf des Betrachters die ganz eigene Geschichte zu seinen Bildern entstehen.
